ABC-Amega is looking for a Programmer Analyst to join our team!

  • Process client data feeds for multiple business applications
  • Review new client data feeds and develop processes to convert them to standard formats
  • Complete specific programming tasks with limited supervision
  • Integrate database and component tools into Windows and Web based interfaces
  • Identifies requirements by establishing personal rapport with ABC-Amega employees in all positions to understand service requirements internally and for clients
  • Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic
  • Conducts and develops test plans to ensure high level of code output
  • Provides reference for use of prime and personal computers by writing and maintaining user documentation; maintaining a help desk
  • Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Keeps equipment operational by calling for repairs; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; evaluating new equipment
  • Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft .NET and SQL Server (required)
  • Experience in Microsoft Visual Basic ASP.Net (required)
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server DTS/SSIS packages and ETL tools (preferred)
  • Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, XSLT, XML, CSS, JavaScript (required)
